What makes this different from other rollators?

How can a 17 lb chassis hold 300 lbs?
Aerospace-grade aluminium alloy has a far better strength-to-weight ratio than the steel used in most budget frames. It is the same class of material chosen where weight is expensive and failure isn't an option. You get the load rating without the mass.
How heavy is it to lift?
17 lbs — about a full carry-on. It folds flat and stands on its own, so it's one lift into the trunk.
What height does it suit?
Users 5'3" to 6'1" (160–185 cm), across six grip positions. Standing upright with arms relaxed, the grips should meet your wrists.
Can I use it on grass and gravel?
Yes — that's what the eight-inch GlideCore wheels are for. Sidewalk seams, gravel driveways, packed grass and cobbles. Soft sand, deep mud and stairs are not.
How long will the wheels last?
TPR doesn't go brittle in cold the way hard plastic does, and there is no rust anywhere on an aluminium chassis. Wheels, chassis and brakes are covered for two years.
Is the seat comfortable for a while?
It's a padded rest seat with a contoured backrest, built for five or ten minutes at a time. It isn't an armchair, and no rollator seat is.
Will it fit through my doors?
Folded width is 24.8. Standard interior doorways run 28–32". Email us your narrowest measurement before ordering and we'll check it.
Can someone push me while I sit on it?
No. It's a rollator, not a transport chair. Sit on it only when both brakes are locked and it's stationary.
How do the brakes work?
Squeeze up to slow while walking. Push down and both rear wheels lock — that's the position to leave them in before you sit.
How much assembly is needed?
Three steps, no tools. Ten minutes from opening the box.
