Why We Only Sell One Rollator

Halewalk started after buying three rollators for one person and returning two of them.

The first was steel — solid, and too heavy to get into a trunk without help. The second had six-inch plastic wheels that stopped at every sidewalk seam, which meant every walk got planned around the pavement instead of the destination. The third one got used every single day.

The difference came down to four things: what the frame is made of, how big the wheels are, whether the brakes hold their adjustment, and whether the backrest is a real backrest or a strip of nylon stitched across two poles.

So that's what we built to. Aerospace-grade aluminium instead of steel. Eight inches of shock-absorbing compound instead of six of hard plastic. A contoured backrest bolted into the chassis instead of stretched across it.

Built to one specification. There is no entry model, no upgrade tier, no version where the good wheels cost extra. One build — the one we would buy for our own family — and that's what ships.

We're a small company in Fullerton, California. Orders ship from a US warehouse, not from overseas, which is why they arrive in days rather than weeks. Every email goes to a person here, and it gets answered within one business day.

If it isn't right, you have sixty days and we pay the return shipping. We would rather have the rollator back than a customer who resents it.
